1. How to book?
2. Payment upon arrival

Upon arrival at the apartment you will have to pay to the owner or host the remaining balance of your booking. This amount will be clearly specified when you receive our booking confirmation via email. This payment has to be done in CASH, in euros, as well as the deposit payment. Please take note that owners do not have bank terminals so it is NOT possible to charge any amount on your credit card.
Upon arrival the owner or contact person, will give you the keys of the apartment, will show you how everything in the apartment works and will cash the remaining balance. He / she will get as well the securtiy deposit (against dammages), which will be refunded to you on departure date in the event no serious dammages occured.
The owner or contact person is allowed to ask you to show your passport and take note of its number for its records on arrival date. However he/she has no prerogative to keep it under any cirscumstances. |

Your booking confirmation:

Your booking confirmation will stablish all details of your stay. It will be sent to you by email. The booking confirmation will inform you about the total amount of your booking, the amount paid previously to Goingbarcelona, and the remaining balance to be paid cash upon arrival to your host. Please print your booking confirmation and take it with you to Barcelona, as there you will find all the information pertaining to your rental.
In all cases, it is the person named in your booking confirmation (hereafter "the renter") who accepts the conditions and declares himself or herself responsible for all other tenants.
Your booking confirmation will be ratified for a fixed duration of days, and the renter has no prerogative (except under agreement with our office) to prolong his or her stay beyond the end date stipulated in the contract.
Payment of your reservation is considered the equivalent of accepting the general rental conditions. |

Your Stay (Check in and check out)

In general our standard check in time is from 13:00 p.m. and check out time is at 11:00h. However, as we are not a hotel, and depending if the apartment is occupied the night previous to your arrival or departure, an exception to the check in – check –out can be made. Please discuss this point with the owner/host on arrival date. |
5.
Security Deposit (against dammages)

There is an specific deposit (refundable on departure date) for each apartment. The deposit is aprox. 150 euros to 200 euros, depending on owners conditions. This deposit is clearly specified in our website in every apartment page and in your booking confirmation.
If the final inventory of the apartment does not bring to light any apparent serious dammages, the security deposit will be returned to you when handing over the keys again to owner/host on departure date. |
6.
Cancellation policy

Cancellation
of your booking: the following conditions will apply:
A) Cancellation
more than 35 days before the beginning of your stay: 30% of
the pre-payment will be refunded.
B) Cancellation after this
period: no refund will be possible
C) Interruption of your
stay: in case of an unanticipated interruption of your stay,
and if the responsibility of the owner is not in question,
no refund will be possible. |
7. Options (Children)

For children younger
than 2 years:no charge (but you should bring your own travel
cot)
Children of 2 years old and older: same price as an
adult |
8. Apartment capacity:
| |
In no case can the number of tenants exceed the sleeping capacity stipulated at booking. However, a baby's cot can be added if you bring it by yourself. |
9. House rules
| |
The renter should respect the house rules. Please take note that the apartment you’ve rented is not meant for partying, making loud noise or music at irregular hours etc. For this reason we really ask our clients to respect the neighbourghs in the community by showing the usual behaving respect. Please treat the apartment as yours. The regular quite hours are:
- From Monday to Friday from 22.00 to 08.00
- On Saturday and Sunday 12.00 to 10.00 |
10. Guarantee of Price

The price of the rental is guaranteed from the time of your booking. Water, electricity, heat and taxes are included in the price.
Goingbarcelona can modify the rates at any moment, keeping in any case the rates of the reservations already made. |
11. Domestic animals
| |
In general domestic animals are not allowed. Anyway, you can request it on your form. |
GoingBarcelona can not be held responsible for:
For temporary defects
in materials/machines on the premises, for electricity outages,
for a water decrease or outage not directly resulting from
him, for loss, breakage or damage because of weather conditions,
demonstrations, strikes, or other independent circumstances
outside of his control.
For any loss or inconvenience to
the renter in the case that the apartment is destroyed or
badly damaged BEFORE the beginning of the rental. In that
case Goingbarcelona will offer you an alternative accomodation. |
